As a bold, street-level extension of the overall marketing strategy, this stencil design was applied using semi-permanent chalk in high-foot-traffic areas throughout Sacramento—sparking spontaneous curiosity and building an ominous, festive buzz for the performance. By turning everyday sidewalks into eye-catching touchpoints, the campaign not only heightened local visibility but also inspired organic social sharing, as passersby posted their discoveries online. The result was a playful, word-of-mouth ripple effect that amplified awareness at virtually no cost.
